MINORITY LANGUAGE DIES
In the lecture, the speaker talks about the extinction of minor language. At the beginning of the lecture, the speaker says the minor language is disappearing at a rate we never thought before. Also, the speaker mentions this is mainly because of urbanization. According to the speaker, more and more people move from a rural area to the cities, where they have to speak a mainstream language. Lastly, the speaker indicates that only on the isolated island, a minor language could exist.
