These days, law is there for everything. It plays an extremely important role and helps to regulate everything. Some people claim that it does not affect so much. However, depends on the self-commitment of an individual. I feel that laws affect the human conducts positively. In the following paragraph, I will explain both the negative and positive sides of the above statement and thus lead to a plausible conclusion.
To begin with the agreement, law helps to restrict human behavior and encourages them to be obedient. There are many laws in our constitution. These laws make people think about the consequences of their action according to the legislations before doing anything wrong; however, understanding of consequences depends on moral values as well that person have. For example , in case of traffic rules , fines are levied for jumping red lights or not wearing of helmets, belts during driving and traffic violation. It is clear from this example that the fear of penalty lead to obedience in human behavior, thus following traffic rules.
On the flip side, some people believe that law does not affect so much because it depends on the behavior of human beings. For example, there are many strong laws but the crime rate in most of the countries is still not going down. Only self-motivation can change human behavior.
To conclude, where there are several compelling arguments from both the sides, I profoundly believe that laws change human behavior; it makes people responsible. human should follow rules to make the world peaceful.
